"For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me."

 — Matt 25:35-36

The command of Jesus to, "...Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."   (Mark ),  is the very heart of ministry, and is therefore the very foundation of the work of BPM.  However, Jesus did not send His disciples forth as His voice only, but also His hands, His feet, His love and His compassion to every man.  Jesus said unto His disciples,"...ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me..."   (Acts 1:8)

Mr. Strong's defines the word, witnesses (#3144) as "martus (mar'-toos); a martyr, record, or witness." The true Christian is certainly a martyr, as the scripture says, they "...loved not their lives unto the death."   ( )   But the Christian is to be more than this, he is to be a witness, a record of our Lord Jesus.  Paul said, "Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God." (Acts 20:26-27)

In Acts 1:8, the scripture says, "ye shall be witnesses unto me", literally a record of me.  Paul declared to the Corinthian Church, "Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:"   (2 Corinthians 3:2)   We are to be the very record of all that Jesus was on this earth, and is now in heaven, both in word and deed, and carry this life, His life unto all the nations.

Throughout the ministry of BPM, Brother Plunkett has indeed declared "all the counsel of God." Through your giving, BPM  has reached out to the poor and needy, to the sick, and to those in prison, providing not only for their spiritual needs, but to their physical needs as well.
